Autobahn Car Center opened in May 2011 and is located in Newcastle, just off of Ophir Road.. Re-established in Newcastle, Autobahn Car Center has a rich history in the auto repair business.  Opened as a family business in 1975 by Helmut Mauth, Autobahn quickly became the auto repair shop of choice in Sacramento.  Now the legacy of QUALITY + LOVE is continued by Helmut’s son Hans. (and Helmut too, occasionally, and Joani (mom, office, and accounting), and Terry- (wife, marketing, outreach, mental health support, etc.), and, daughter Hannah, summertime vacation greeter- All Family!!)  

Hans has been an Auto Technician for 41 years and has worked on pretty much everything including Alfa Romeo’s, Saab’s, Subaru’s, Toyota’, Infinity’s, Porsche’s, Mercedes-Benz’s, Ford’s, Chevy’s, Kia’s, Lamborghini’s, a few Ferrari’s, some really old pick-up’s, a few thousand Volkswagen’s and even a bicycle or 2….to name just a few.
